Here at the Bush Telegraph we won't urge you to vote for any particular party, and we suspect that you wouldn't pay any attention if we did. But we do urge you to vote, and to vote not just on the national party platforms but on the local issues that confront our neighbourhood. Ask yourself - what will our candidates do to make our parks better and our streets cleaner? Are they in favour of new development and investment, and if so will they ensure that new developments bring benefits for our whole community? Luckily for you, we have already asked our four main local candidates what their plan is for Shepherd's Bush - if they get elected.
So if you're still undecided, read our interviews with the candidates, and make up your own mind. In no particular order, here they are:

So who is likely to win? Of course, we don't have any idea, any more than anyone else does, and the national result is as hard to predict as it has ever been in living memory. But, incumbent MP Andy Slaughter had a majority of 3,000 votes at the last election, and he is now looking for a third term. Snapping at his heels is Conservative MP Charlie Dewhirst, but he will need a significant swing away from Labour to pull it off. If we were placing bets (and we aren't) it would probably be on the continuation of the status quo, at least here in The Bush.
